Training Stairs are one of the most important pieces of equipment in the rehabilitation of patients with walking and balance issues at anytime including after an injury, surgery or illness. Rehabilitation of the leg muscles and maintaining balance is greatly enhanced using training stairs with the appropriate handrails, step width and non skid surface. Climbing and descending stairs uses different muscles from walking and the training stairs give the individual a safe environment in which to practice and restore ability and confidence.
