The pre-bent outriggers of the kit are designed for one to two digits and can be positioned over the fingers or the metacarpals. They can each hold a rod adjuster to assist with proper alignment of the MCP, PIP, or DIP joint in both flexion and extension. Additional splinting materials, straps, and rubber bands are not included.
