The CastCooler is a device that helps to reduce odor and itch associated with orthopedic casts. It does this by removing moisture from the cast lining without touching the patient. This is accomplished by creating a gentle vacuum on the outside of the cast, which draws fresh air into the cast and removes moisture. The CastCooler is designed to be used with all breathable (fiberglass) orthopedic casts.
