Resistick II coated blade, ball and needle electrodes are expertly coated with PTFE (polytetrafl uoroethylene). They move more effectively through tissue because they resist eschar build-up making them much more effi cient during surgical procedures. Unlike the common stainless steel electrodes with a propensity to accumulate the discarded blood and tissue, Resistick II coated electrodes simply wipe clean. Just use a damp sponge or cloth to almost effortlessly clean the debris off the Resistick II electrodes. Standard stainless steel electrodes are unquestionably much more diffi cult to clean. As they say, “Time is Money”!
Features
- Resistick II electrodes resist eschar, allowing easy movement through tissue during surgery
- Resistick II electrodes require less force to move through tissue than stainless steel electrodes
- Resistick II electrodes: easily cleaned; stainless steel electrodes: more difficult
- Bovie uses Ionic Backscatter to ensure Resistick II coating thickness consistency
