The Rolyan Anti-Spasticity Ball Splint is composed of moldable low-temperature thermoplastic and includes straps. Its purpose is to maintain the hand and fingers in a reflex-inhibiting position and the wrist in a neutral position, in order to reduce spasticity. This splint is indicated to potentially prevent deformity due to mild to moderate hypertonicity in cases of cerebrovascular accident, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease.
