To originally be fitted by a healthcare professional, the splint is used for moderate to severe spasticity. In order to prevent fingers and thumbs from coming off the splint, a metacarpal pad and slot-and-loop finger strappings are attached. The removable metacarpal pad and secure strappings provide a customized fit and reliable support, ensuring the splint stays in place.
