Manufactured by Hartmann-USA, Sorbalux I.V. Sponge Pads are a fast-wicking and absorbent non-woven solution for general wound care. Comprised of a soft polyester/rayon blend, the all-purpose dressing provides a protective layer to help stop re-injury and ward off infection. Uniquely designed with a pre-cut slit, the pads fit around chest, tracheostomy, feeding, gastric, and IV tubes without the need for manual cutting. This eliminates the risk of contamination from loose threads, making Sorbalux an ideal padding for wound cleansing, needle and slide wiping, ointment application, and prepping.
