The Swedish Style Knee Brace is an orthotic device that is used to manage genu recurvatum and hyperextension. It is a lightweight brace that provides support for the knee joint and allows for knee flexion. The brace has a strap behind the knee that can be tightened or loosened to decrease or increase control of the knee. Minor adjustments can also be made to the proximal or distal position of the brace to comfortably distribute pressures.
